Lathyrus lacteus (M.Bieb.) E.D.Wissjul.

Flora Europaea

A sporadic species in well preserved forest-steppe mesic grasslands. Very similar in concerning ecology and its habit with Lathyrus pallescens (M. Bieb.) C. Koch (see also here) which is totally puberulent and Lathyrus pannonicus (Jacq.) Garcke which has inflorescence peduncles twice as long as the bracteant leaves which have at least two pairs of leaflets. Unfortunately the confusions especially between pannonicus and lacteus are very frequent.

East of Stana de Mures, Alba county, 14th of May 2010.
